Vocational Lab under PM SHRI Scheme
A Vocational Lab is being constructed in our school under the PM SHRI (Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India) Scheme with the aim of providing students with practical, skill-based and experiential learning opportunities. The lab is designed to provide a dedicated space where students can develop vocational skills through hands-on activities, demonstrations and project-based learning.
The construction work is currently in progress, with approximately 90% of the work completed. The remaining work is expected to be completed soon, following which the lab will be ready for use by the students.
The Vocational Lab will help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enabling students to develop creativity, problem-solving skills, teamwork, innovation and an understanding of various career opportunities. It will also support the development of future-ready and employability-oriented skills among students.
The establishment of this facility marks an important step towards strengthening skill education and experiential learning in the school. Once completed, the Vocational Lab will significantly contribute to the holistic development of students and further the vision of the PM SHRI Scheme.
