Bal Vatika Programme is designed as a preparatory class for children before Grade 1. It provides a joyful and nurturing environment where young learners develop essential foundational skills through play-based, activity-based and experiential learning. The programme focuses on language development, early numeracy, creativity, motor skills and social-emotional development, helping children transition smoothly into formal schooling.
1. Number Recognition & Sequencing Activity
Children are using colourful number cards and arranging numbers in sequence. This is a fun, hands-on approach to developing number recognition, counting, sequencing and logical thinking. |
2. Puzzle and Cognitive Development Activity
Children are assembling an animal-themed jigsaw puzzle. This develops observation, concentration, spatial understanding, problem-solving and hand-eye coordination, while also helping children recognise animals. |
3. Nature Activity
Children are engaged in caring for plants in the school garden. They are exploring soil and plants with their hands, helping them develop an awareness of nature and environmental care. The activity promotes sensory development, motor skills, cooperation and responsibility. |
4. Rakhi-Making Activity
Children are participating in a Pre-Rakhi celebration and making colourful rakhis using craft materials. The activity encourages creativity, fine-motor coordination and cultural awareness, while also providing an opportunity to learn about the values of love, sharing and relationships. |
